About AWW Automotive
AWW Automotive is a specialist automotive business based in Silverstone, working with a wide range of performance, prestige, supercar, and specialist vehicles.
Our services include professional detailing, paint protection film (PPF), paintwork, and vehicle preparation, and we pride ourselves on producing work to an exceptionally high standard.
We are now looking for an experienced professional detailer to join our team.
This is an experienced position; we are specifically looking for someone who already has significant professional detailing experience and can confidently work to a high standard without requiring basic training.
This position would suit someone who takes genuine pride in their work, understands the level of care required when working with high-value vehicles, and can be trusted to take responsibility for a vehicle from start to finish.
This is not a trainee or entry-level detailing position.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Full exterior and interior detailing
- Safe vehicle washing and decontamination
- Machine polishing and paint correction
- Single and multi-stage polishing
- Paintwork inspection and defect identification
- Preparation of vehicles prior to PPF installation
- Preparation and finishing of vehicles following paintwork
- Application of ceramic coatings and other protection products
- Deep cleaning and detailing of interiors
- Working safely around delicate finishes, carbon fibre, PPF, satin/matte paintwork, and specialist vehicles
- Final vehicle inspection and quality control
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional working environment

What We’re Looking For
The right person will have:
- Several years of professional detailing experience
- Strong machine polishing and paint correction skills
- Experience applying ceramic coatings
- Excellent knowledge of safe detailing techniques and products
- Experience working with prestige, performance, or high-value vehicles
- Extremely high attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and manage their own workload
- A professional and responsible attitude
- Good time management
- A full UK driving licence
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, and takes personal responsibility for the standard of their work.
We don’t expect someone to be shown how to carry out the fundamentals of detailing. You should already be confident in your ability and capable of producing work to a professional standard from day one.
