Opening

We're looking for a colleague with significant experience to play a key role in the continued growth and development of our practice.

As a proudly independent practice, we're looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who will bring clinical expertise, support the development of colleagues and help shape the future of our practice.

This is more than just another vet role. It's an opportunity to help shape our clinical services, influence the direction of the practice and work in an environment where your experience and ideas are genuinely valued. For the right candidate, there is potential for future buy-in opportunities as part of our long-term vision for Oathall Veterinary Group.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working a 4-day week. You will also contribute to and provide support to our weekend and night team as part of our dedicated in-house out-of-hours service. Our approach to out-of-hours care provides genuine continuity of care, allowing you to manage cases from start to finish and deliver the highest standards of patient care.

Alongside a varied first opinion caseload, you'll play a key role in the continued development of the practice. Ideally, you'll bring an interest in surgery or dentistry and enjoy sharing your knowledge by supporting and developing the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
