Experienced Wills, LPA & Probate Specialist

Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Private Client Specialist (Solicitor, CILEX Lawyer or CLC Licensed Practitioner) to join a specialist legal practice in Weybridge. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to focus exclusively on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), Probate, and Estate Administration. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of both straightforward and complex private client matters while delivering exceptional service to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft simple and complex Wills, including bespoke estate planning and asset protection arrangements.
- Advise on, prepare, and register Property & Financial Affairs and Health & Welfare Lasting Powers of Attorney, including complex business LPAs.
- Manage a caseload of probate and estate administration matters, including taxable estates and intestacy cases.
- Provide advice on inheritance tax and estate planning matters.
- Liaise with executors, beneficiaries, financial institutions, HMRC, and other professional advisers.
- Deliver a high standard of client care, providing clear, practical, and empathetic advice.
- Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver comprehensive private client solutions.

Key Requirements

- Qualified Solicitor, CILEX Lawyer, or CLC Licensed Practitioner.
- Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in Private Client law.
- Strong technical knowledge of Wills, LPAs, Probate, and Estate Administration.
- Experience handling both straightforward and complex private client matters.
- Excellent understanding of inheritance tax and estate planning principles.
- Outstanding communication and client relationship skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
- A compassionate, professional, and client-focused approach.
