Experiential Production Manager – Retail & Brand Environments
Battersea / Hybrid – Up to £100,000 + Benefits
We’re looking for an experienced Experiential Production Manager to join a growing independent design and production studio delivering flagship retail environments, pop-ups, exhibitions and bespoke brand activations for major global brands.
You’ll take ownership of the physical production process, turning ambitious designs into beautifully finished environments. Working closely with designers, Producers and Directors, you’ll lead projects through design development, fabrication, logistics and installation.
Your experience should include managing bespoke physical builds, with a strong understanding of materials, construction methods, technical requirements and onsite delivery.
The role
You’ll own the detailed production workstream, managing fabricators, contractors, suppliers, build budgets and schedules. Alongside a Producer who leads the overall client relationship and project, you’ll ensure the creative vision translates into a practical, commercially viable and safely delivered build.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading production from design development through fabrication, installation and breakdown.
- Translating creative concepts into buildable, cost-effective production solutions.
- Reviewing technical drawings, specifications, materials, finishes and construction methods.
- Building and managing production budgets, schedules, scopes of work and supplier quotations.
- Sourcing, briefing and managing fabricators, contractors and specialist suppliers.
- Identifying technical, commercial and logistical risks and resolving issues proactively.
- Overseeing site surveys, workshop visits, pre-builds and quality control.
- Planning freight, transport, storage, site access and installation logistics.
- Leading onsite production teams across UK and international projects.
- Managing relevant health and safety documentation, RAMS and contractor requirements.
- Working closely with Producers and designers to align creative ambition with budget, programme and production constraints.
- Reconciling production costs and identifying improvements for future projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
