Introduction

At IBM, technology creates value when it helps organizations solve meaningful business challenges. As a Technical Sales Specialist within Expert Labs, you will lead client engagements that accelerate technology adoption and help organizations maximize the value of their IBM investments. Working across sales, consulting, and technical teams, you'll drive growth opportunities and support clients across IBM's Software, Infrastructure, Hybrid Cloud, Data, Automation, and AI portfolio.

Your Role And Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Opportunity Leadership: Lead opportunities through the sales cycle, from discovery to solution positioning and closure. Build trusted relationships with business and technical stakeholders. Understand client challenges and align Expert Labs services and IBM technologies to business outcomes. Identify opportunities to expand adoption and drive customer success.

Solution Sales & Business Growth: Lead the positioning of Expert Labs services and technology solutions. Develop proposals, presentations, and account growth strategies. Drive opportunity progression and contribute to revenue growth. Research industry trends and client priorities to uncover new business opportunities.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Actively Enrolled: Registered undergraduate or graduate university student.

Seeking a Bachelor's or Master's degree in: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Technology Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Management Information Systems, Technology Management, or a related technical, business, or analytical discipline.

  • Experience working with customers across multiple industries.
  • Background in technology consulting, professional services, or technical sales.
