Location: Brent Civic Centre as well as other locations as required

The Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Administrator to provide high-quality support to the Experts at Hand service, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of a busy, multi-agency cluster.
This is a key role at the centre of the service, acting as the first point of contact for professionals, service providers and stakeholders. You will play a vital part in coordinating administrative processes, supporting meetings, managing information and ensuring that systems run efficiently and effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact, managing enquiries via phone, email and post in a professional and timely manner
- Providing comprehensive administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing papers and taking accurate minutes
- Supporting financial processes, including raising purchase orders, processing payments and maintaining records
- Maintaining and updating databases, spreadsheets and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Monitoring shared inboxes and ensuring queries and actions are responded to within required timescales
- Liaising with internal teams and external providers, acting as a key link across the service
- Producing reports and supporting data collection, including statutory returns
- Identifying and escalating issues, helping to improve administrative processes and service delivery

The Person
We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused individual with strong administrative experience and a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
You will:
- Have experience providing business or administrative support in a busy environment
- Be confident working with data, maintaining accurate records and handling sensitive information appropriately
- Have strong IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office applications and databases
- Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
- Be an effective communicator, able to work with a wide range of stakeholders including professionals and members of the public
- Have experience supporting meetings, including arranging logistics and taking minutes
- Be proactive in identifying improvements and resolving issues in administrative processes
- Be a strong team player with a flexible and adaptable approach
