Make a Difference for Children and Young People in Greenwich

Experts at Hand Navigator – Greenwich SEND Grade PO3 | Children's Services | SEND

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with SEND? Do you want to play a pivotal role in an innovative new model that is transforming how schools access specialist expertise across Greenwich?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and committed professional to join us as an Experts at Hand Navigator – a brand new role at the heart of Greenwich's SEND reform programme.

About The Role

As an Experts at Hand Navigator, you will be the primary point of contact for schools and settings within your allocated cluster. You will build trusted relationships with schools and settings, helping them understand and access the specialist SEND support they need.

Working alongside a dedicated team of specialists including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, educational psychologists, autism outreach workers and STEPS practitioners, you will coordinate support, triage requests and ensure schools and settings receive the right expertise at the right time.

You will bring professional SEND knowledge, strong relationship skills and a genuine commitment to inclusion to help schools and settings build their capacity to support children and young people within mainstream provision.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Acting as the named contact for schools and settings across your cluster, building strong and trusted working relationships
  • Leading regular check-in conversations with schools to identify emerging needs and ensure they can access support confidently
  • Triaging requests and coordinating specialist support across a multidisciplinary team
  • Chairing the weekly multidisciplinary team meeting, facilitating discussion and ensuring the right support is agreed for each request
  • Providing operational oversight of specialists across the cluster, monitoring progress and ensuring quality of delivery
  • Maintaining accurate records and producing reports to support service improvement

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
