Exploration Sales Officer
As an Exploration Sales Officer at Flooglebinder, you’ll be at the forefront of growing our impact through educational travel by sourcing, engaging, and managing your own client portfolio. You’ll be responsible for driving new business, building long-lasting relationships with schools and organisations, and creating opportunities that inspire young people to explore the world with purpose. This is a target-driven role ideal for someone with a strong sales background, a hunger to succeed, and the ambition to excel in a fast-paced, meaningful sector.
Full time, permanent role - 40 hours per week
Key responsibilities
Client acquisition & business development
- Identify, contact, and secure new school and organisational partners through outbound sales including phone calls, email, LinkedIn, and networking
- Take full ownership of your client pipeline from lead generation through to closing partnerships
- Build trusted relationships with decision-makers, tailoring solutions to meet their needs
Sales delivery & relationship management
- Lead your own sales presentations to teachers, students, and parents, showcasing Flooglebinder projects
- Travelling to schools during the day or evening (or online evening) for presentations, assemblies or parents evenings
- Manage negotiations and agreements with schools and ensure smooth onboarding of new partners
- Track performance against sales targets and deliver regular updates to the Co-Founders
- Proactively follow up with clients to maximise sign-ups and retention, ensuring long-term partnerships

CRM & pipeline management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activity in Insightly (our CRM)
- Monitor conversion rates and implement strategies to improve engagement and take-up
- Use data and insights to refine outreach strategies and achieve measurable growth
Key skills & attributes
- Proven sales experience (ideally 2+ years) with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence speaking to groups and individuals
- Resilient, ambitious, and self-motivated, with the drive to build and lead your own client portfolio
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple accounts and priorities at once
- A passion for education, travel, and making a positive impact
Requirements
- Previous experience in a sales-focused role (e.g., recruitment, estate agency, business development, education sales, or similar)
- Confident making high volumes of outbound calls, emails, and messages to generate leads
- Right to work in the UK
- Willing to work from the London office 3 days a week
- Enhanced DBS check (conducted by us)
- Willingness to undergo relevant safeguarding and compliance training

Salary
- £35-40k base with on target earnings of £60-70k (based on experience)
