Export Administrator
Alton, Hampshire
Are you an organised administrator with experience in exports, shipping, logistics or compliance? We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrator to join our growing aerospace and defence business in Alton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is looking to develop a career in export compliance.
The Role
Working closely with the wider team, you will support export compliance activities and ensure accurate records are maintained for UK and international shipments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and maintaining export documentation.
- Managing export licence records and shipment logs.
- Monitoring compliance records and documentation.
- Supporting export licence applications and renewals.
- Liaising with customers, freight forwarders and government authorities when required.
- Maintaining End User Undertakings and customer compliance records.
- Assisting with commodity code and export classification administration.
- Supporting internal and external audits.
- Providing administrative support for quality and supplier compliance activities.

About You
We are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including export administration, logistics coordination, shipping administration, compliance support or supply chain administration.
You will have:
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working with documentation, records or compliance processes.
- Good communication skills and confidence dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Competent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Must be a British National to work on defence projects

Desirable
- Experience within export, shipping or logistics administration.
- Knowledge of customs, export documentation or freight processes.
- Exposure to aerospace, defence, manufacturing or engineering environments.
