This company supplies a range of advanced technical products/solutions to the construction sector from a UK base. The business, which has an excellent reputation for innovation, product performance, and customer service, is seeking an Export Business Development Manager to support the ongoing growth of international markets with an emphasis on the Middle East.

The role, which reports to the Sales Director, will have responsibility for managing all export activities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and achieving business growth objectives. With the willingness to travel, the jobholder will identify and develop new business as well as broadening the current product offering with existing customers. Responsibilities extend to all aspects in the preparation, coordination, and execution of export and logistical processes whilst managing relationships with international clients and key accounts.

  • Proven business development credentials gained supplying building materials to international customers, ideally in the Middle East.
  • Good knowledge of international sales along with regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms is essential.
  • Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Must be mobile and willing to spend time travelling to international markets and to the company's head office in the North of England.
