Job Description
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance
TRAVEL REQUIRED: Minimal travel within UK (optional travel to Europe for the annual Airbus Export Control Symposium)
LOCATION: Stevenage
TYPE: Full time, STEM returners are welcomed

The UK export control function operates across four sites, providing end-to-end support to three key business lines across both commercial and defence related land, air and space programmes. In this role, your focus will be on the fascinating and fast-growing area of space systems, where precision, collaboration, and innovation come together.

How you will contribute to the team
- Act as a primary point of contact for operational advice and guidance on export control regulations and procedures, including national and international regulations and sanctions
- Develop and implement export control processes and procedures
- Deliver training to cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a strong organisational raise awareness and ensure they are fully compliant when dealing with activities related to, or impacted by export control regulations.
- Maintain accurate, real-time export control records, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations to meet all internal and external audit and reporting requirements
About you
- Expertise in national and international export control and sanctions combined with the skill to convey complex regulations effectively across a range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge relating to US regulations such as ITAR & EAR and also UK Military & Dual-use control lists would be preferable. As would being familiar with Government tools such as SPIRE & LITE for UK licence applications / PV Gradings / F680’s etc.
- Demonstrates initiative in addressing challenges while knowing when to seek input from specialists or escalate matters appropriately.
- Collaborative team player who fosters positive relationships, aligns with organisational and team objectives whilst listening to and respecting diverse perspectives.
