Job Description Summary

RESONANT is recruiting for a Export Coordinator to join the team

About our Company

With over 40 years of experience in custom kitting and the Clinical Trials space, our industry-leading experts across our Clinical Services Team, have built strong reputations delivering quality products and services backed by deep technical and regulatory expertise.

Based in Chorley, the Equipment & Ancillaries Team provide a global service tailored to our customer’s individual needs whereby we will source and supply medical and laboratory equipment to support them in conducting their clinical trials. Wherever they are in the world, wherever their study is taking place, we deliver the right equipment, at the right time, in the most effective way possible.

What we are looking for

As a Export Coordinator, you will be primarily responsible for producing export documentation to support the distribution of medical equipment and ancillaries, to destinations all over the world. You will be incredibly organised, a great communicator and have a strong attention to detail. You will have a wide knowledge of export procedures and experience of exporting to complex countries.

How will you make an impact & Requirement

What you will be doing for us:

  • Prepare & appropriately record & file, all export shipping documentation (including consular documents etc.) for EU & ROW shipping of parcels and pallets ensuring all Customs requirements are met
  • Communicate with relevant stakeholders regarding shipments to expedite deliveries and meet OTIF targets
  • Make transport bookings for outbound and inbound shipments, using the most cost-effective method of transport
  • Provide timely & accurate carrier/freight shipping quotations & proforma invoices as required. Calculate duties & taxes as applicable
  • Liaise with third parties such as IOR’s, Customs Agents, Brokers and Carriers & Freight Forwarders to ensure accuracy of documentation and to expedite deliveries
  • Update the system with shipping information, complete compliance filing and update relevant spreadsheets etc
  • Assist with resolving any delays with outbound shipping – communicating effectively with the wider business as appropriate
  • Keep abreast of changes to customs requirements, tariff / commodity codes etc. using various sources such as HMRC & Tates Guide etc
  • Provide cover and assist with tracking and tracing and producing relevant reports for the wider business
  • Carry out invoice verification for shipments, ensuring that the Invoice value matches the standard or the cost quoted
  • Manage shared mailboxes in line with requirements ensuring timely and accurate responses and ensuring the mailbox is accurately categorised and filed appropriately
  • Complete other ad-hoc duties as and when required
