Export Logistics Coordinator
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover until January 2028)
The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Export Logistics Coordinator to join a busy logistics and supply chain operation on a fixed-term basis. This role is responsible for coordinating the movement of international shipments, managing export documentation, and ensuring a high level of service is provided to customers and stakeholders throughout the shipment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate export shipments from booking through to final delivery.
- Prepare and process export and shipping documentation.
- Liaise with customers, carriers, suppliers, and overseas partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor shipment progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant customs, regulatory, and company procedures.
- Resolve operational issues, shipment delays, and documentation queries in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and operational partners.
- Support continuous improvement and contribute to efficient logistics processes.

About You
- Previous experience within export logistics, freight forwarding, or international supply chain operations.
- Strong understanding of export processes and shipping documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems.
