Opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator in Medical Device Sector

An opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and detail-oriented professional to join a global team within the medical device sector. This role is central to ensuring the efficient processing of international orders, the coordination of worldwide shipments, and the delivery of exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

You will support daily operations by maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance, and upholding high standards of communication and customer care. Core duties include:

  • Order administration — processing orders, issuing PO confirmations, proposing alternatives for backorders, and managing delivery timelines.
  • International customer support — responding to global enquiries promptly and professionally, including pre-screening and re-routing where required.
  • Logistics coordination — liaising with warehouse teams to ensure correct packaging, labelling, and timely dispatch of shipments.
  • Contract compliance — verifying orders against active contractual agreements.
  • Shipping documentation — preparing and issuing accurate international shipping paperwork.
  • Customer credit management — issuing credits related to AQ complaints or invoice corrections.
  • Overdue account follow-up — issuing account statements and reminders to overdue customers.
  • ERP data maintenance — creating and updating customer records, pricing, and master data.
  • Quality complaint handling — coordinating returns, verifying documentation, and ensuring timely closure of cases.
  • Product recall support — assisting with customer notifications, data archiving, and return coordination.
  • Documentation archiving — maintaining organised records for audit purposes.
  • Sales team support — providing administrative and operational assistance as required.
  • Team coverage — supporting colleagues during periods of absence.
