The Opportunity

HallMark Veterinary and Compliance Services is recruiting for an experienced and motivated Export Official Veterinarian to support export certification in Market Harborough, Northamptonshire. This is a permanent, on-site role offering stability, consistent working hours, and the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient export processes for businesses within the region.

As a key member of the Exports Team, you will play a central role in ensuring that products of animal origin meet UK legislation and importing country requirements. The role is particularly suited to an experienced Export OV with strong knowledge of retail exports, groupage consignments, GEFS, and fresh meat exports to the EU and other international markets. Full training and support will be provided on relevant plants, systems, and export processes, with comprehensive support for any required export panel approvals.

About the Role

As an Export Official Veterinarian, you will contribute to the safe and compliant movement of products across international borders by verifying documentation, completing Export Health Certificates (EHCs), and ensuring exporters meet the relevant UK and global regulatory standards. You will work closely with local businesses, providing professional guidance, maintaining accurate records, and supporting HallMark’s commitment to high-quality, reliable certification services. The role requires someone who is confident working independently within a busy export environment and who can manage the demands of regular export certification.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
