Export Sales Manager
Introduction
Our client is a global manufacturer of premium building products and construction materials, operating in over 35 countries worldwide. The company has an enviable reputation as a quality supplier and has worked on a multitude of large-scale projects. Due to expansion, they now require an experienced Export Sales Manager to join a strong existing team.
Location
- Home-based and Remote sales role.
- All UK home locations considered.
The Job Role
The Export Sales Manager role is a home and client-facing position taking responsibility for growing international sales for our client.
- Selling a premium range of commercial waterproofing products, concrete repair, flooring, building envelope and building protection materials.
- Whilst existing trading relationships exist in the US, Cyprus and France, the focus of the role is growing new revenue streams.
- Engaging with a broad range of high-volume customers including major contractors, corporate accounts and distributors.
- Minimal international travel is involved with most of the customer contact being via Teams calls.
- Broad responsibility for advising on UK export sales strategy and delivering consistent growth over the long term.

The Person Needed
For the Export Sales Manager role our client is looking for related export sales experience. The role comes with excellent training and development, but our client is looking for:
- Good prior export sales experience within some form of building industry product sales environment.
- Experience of engaging in setting export sales strategy and tactical long-term selling.
- A structured and autonomous approach to managing a sales area, along with a professional team mindset.
