Export & UK Sales Manager

As Export & UK Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales across international distributor partners as well as managing UK + European Key Account Managers (KAM's) to drive sustainable revenue growth across a diverse portfolio of toys, gifts, games and gadgets. Operating remotely, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building strategic customer relationships and delivering the commercial objectives of a market-leading business.

Description

  • Manage and grow strategic export distributor relationships.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue, margin and market share objectives.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across the UK and international markets.
  • Build strong relationships with buying teams, distributors and key decision-makers.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, annual trading agreements and promotional plans.
  • Analyse sales performance, market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
  • Work closely with marketing, product and supply chain teams to maximise customer success.
  • Manage forecasting and pipeline activity to support business planning.
  • Represent the business at industry exhibitions, trade shows and customer meetings.
  • Expand distribution through new retail channels and export territories.
  • Deliver regular sales reporting and performance updates to senior leadership.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and efficient execution across all accounts.
  • Drive category growth through strategic account development and product placement.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the company's market-leading portfolio.

Profile

A successful Export & UK Sales Manager should have:

  • Proven experience managing national accounts, export customers or distributor networks.
  • Strong commercial background within toys, gifts, consumer goods, FMCG, accessories or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated success delivering sales growth and developing strategic customer relationships.
  • Experience negotiating commercial agreements with retailers and distribution partners.
  • Strong understanding of UK retail environments and international sales channels.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, develop strategy and execute effectively.
  • Analytical and commercially astute, with strong forecasting and reporting skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote, autonomous environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as required.
