Pro Insurance currently has multiple positions available within our expanding Underwriting Support department. We are looking for experienced Analysts to come and join our Exposure Management (Aggs) team.

The roles involve sourcing, interpreting, extracting and analysing information from various types of documentation, and manipulating data into Client specific formats.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis, interpretation and manipulation of data, principally being schedules of values
  • Using websites and internet searches to enhance or verify provided information, e.g. Improving address accuracy
  • Examination and interpretation of policy documents to extract appropriate data
  • Creation and maintenance of data within Client’s systems, e.g. Application of policy terms and conditions
  • Use of Client modelling software (e.g. RiskLink and TouchStone) in order to upload cleansed files and run Natural Catastrophe models
  • Quality assurance of cleansed or modelled files
  • Regularly communicating with clients in a professional manner
  • Compliance with Client’s quality standards and turnaround times in order to meet contracted service level agreements
  • Resolve or escalate queries to Management/Client as appropriate

Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of the insurance industry and understanding of business classes is essential
  • Ability to deliver accurate information with a strong attention to detail
  • Experience of exposure management or aggregation processes is advantageous but not essential
  • Microsoft Excel skills including working with formulae
  • Excellent time management and flexibility combined with strong organisational skills to meet Client requirements
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build relationships with colleagues and Clients
  • Excellent and demonstrable written and verbal communication skills
  • A conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients
  • Willingness to learn and work across multiple client teams
  • A basic understanding of operational management
