At Kier Design, we're growing our Water Engineering capability and are keen to hear from talented professionals across the water sector. Whether your experience is in clean water, wastewater, networks, treatment, process engineering, MEICA, civil engineering, design management or project delivery, we'd love to start a conversation. This expansion is driven by significant growth across water company frameworks and long-term investment in the regulated water market.

What Qualifications And Experience Are We Looking For
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in:
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Process Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
- Water Engineering or a related discipline
- Chartered status (CEng, IEng or equivalent) or working towards professional accreditation would be advantageous for more senior opportunities.
- Experience working within the UK water industry, either for:
- Water companies
- Engineering consultancies
- Contractors
- Design and build organisations
- Experience delivering:
- Clean water treatment projects
- Wastewater treatment projects
- Water infrastructure and network projects
- Pumping stations and associated assets
- Knowledge of water industry standards, regulations and best practice.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams and collaborating with a range of technical specialists.
- Experience across the project lifecycle, from feasibility and optioneering through to detailed design and delivery.
