About the Role
Our YouTube team is growing, and we are on the lookout for YouTube experts across all seniorities. As a Channel Manager, you’ll be responsible for building, publishing and optimising video performance across our channels. This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, platform performance and video monetisation. As a Senior Channel Manager, you will be required to have existing team management experience, and will be responsible for wider strategy and commercial growth.
What the opportunity looks like
- Channel Ownership - Own the day-to-day management of YouTube channels including scheduling, optimisation and feed strategy. You’ll ensure a consistent, high-performing publishing cadence that aligns with audience behaviour and platform best practice.
- Audience Expertise - Become the internal expert on the channel's audience and competitive category. Monitors what is performing in the space, surfaces trends, and shares findings with the team.
- Data and Reporting - Analyse and monitor YouTube channel performance. Identify what is working and what needs changing. You’ll regularly report insights and recommendations back to the wider team.
- Commercial Awareness - Bringing a commercial mindset towards YouTube - including but not limited to Adsense, sponsorship and integrated work.
- Cross-functional work - Work closely with editorial, production and social teams to shape and activate a clear YouTube strategy. This includes identifying formats, trends, hooks and storytelling approaches that drive repeat viewership, retention and monetisable scale.
- Team Leadership - For senior roles, this includes managing the day-to-day output of the team and quality control across the portfolio. This extends to streamlining team operations and building processes, developing junior talent, and supporting the Head of on strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
