Exterior Vehicle Technician
Loughborough
£30,000 - £35,000 + Great Holidays + Pension + Private Healthcare + Other Benefits
Are you an experienced SMART Repair Technician with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality vehicle finishes? Do you want to join a highly reputable organisation where your skills directly impact vehicle quality and customer satisfaction?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large, well-established national fleet and mobility organisation within its vehicle preparation and quality function. The business operates at scale across the UK, ensuring thousands of vehicles meet strict reconditioning and quality standards before returning to service.
In this role, you will carry out a range of exterior cosmetic repairs including paintwork correction, polishing, and plastic refurbishment. You will use modern SMART repair techniques, tools, and materials to restore vehicles to a high standard, ensuring all work meets strict quality requirements.

The Role
- Carry out SMART repairs including paintwork correction, polishing, and cosmetic refinishing
- Perform plastic refurbishment and rectification work on vehicle exteriors
- Ensure all vehicles meet required quality and reconditioning standards
- Use modern repair techniques, tools, and materials to deliver a right first-time approach
- Work closely with quality and inspection teams to maintain high standards
The Person
- Proven experience in repair, cosmetic vehicle repair, or similar automotive role
- Strong skills in polishing, paint correction, and plastic refurbishment
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
