External Communications Associate | EMEA Culture, Creators & Entertainment
Drive multi-market campaigns and highlight creator culture across EMEA for a world-leading digital media platform.
Are you a proactive PR professional passionate about digital culture, content creators, and entertainment? We are seeking an External Communications Associate to join a central regional communications team at a tier-1 global streaming and technology platform. In this role, you will lead proactive campaigns that highlight cultural moments, prove the legitimacy of digital creators in the broader creative industry, and connect storytelling directly to commercial growth.

- Time Off: 33 days paid holiday per annum (pro-rata, inclusive of bank holidays).
- Flexible Working: Hybrid model (3 days onsite in Tottenham Court Road, London / 2 days remote).
- High-Impact Scope: 6-month contract (maternity cover) driving major calendar moments across key European and Middle Eastern markets.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive proactive EMEA-wide comms campaigns celebrating digital culture, creators, and niche communities (e.g., educational creators, cultural film festival presence).
- Project-manage major annual flagship campaigns, including global and regional top-trending End-of-Year video lists across 5–6 key EMEA markets.
- Build social-first and traditional media narratives that prove creator impact to key opinion formers, policymakers, and advertisers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Comms, Regional Partnerships, Marketing, and local in-country PR teams (UK, France, Germany, MENA, Nordics, etc.).
- Synthesise research, survey data, and trend insights into compelling pitch angles, press materials, and social content.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
