At DHL Express, we're looking for a talented and enthusiastic External Communications Graduate to join our dynamic marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across external communications, social media, brand storytelling, events, media relations and AI-powered marketing tools.
From day one, you'll contribute to meaningful projects, work alongside experienced communications professionals, and help bring the DHL Express brand to life across multiple channels.
What You'll Be Doing
As our External Communications Graduate, you'll support the planning, creation and delivery of engaging communications that strengthen our brand, reputation and customer engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Create content for social media, websites, campaigns and external communications.
- Support the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, media activity and brand initiatives.
- Assist in managing digital channels, monitoring engagement and reporting on performance.
- Help coordinate customer events, conferences and brand experiences.
- Contribute to creative storytelling through written, visual and video content.
- Explore emerging technologies, including AI tools, to enhance communication effectiveness and audience engagement.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies and suppliers to support successful campaign delivery.

Essential Skills
What We're Looking For
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong creativity and passion for storytelling
- Interest in digital communications, social media and content creation
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder relationship-building skills
- Positive, proactive and adaptable approach
- Curiosity, innovation and a genuine eagerness to learn
Desirable Experience
- Creating content for social media or digital channels
- Using design, video editing or content creation tools
- Supporting events, student societies, volunteering activities or internships
- Interest in AI-powered marketing and communications technologies
Qualifications
- Recent graduate, or final-year student, studying Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Media, Digital Marketing or a related discipline
- Minimum 2:1 degree classification achieved or expected
