About the Role

Support the delivery of statutory returns, regulatory reporting and data quality activities that underpin key university operations

• Analyse, validate and maintain institutional data, ensuring it is accurate, reliable and fit for reporting purposes
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues, helping to improve the integrity and consistency of information across the organisation
• Collaborate with academic and professional service teams to support effective data management and reporting practices
• Produce and contribute to management information that supports operational planning and strategic decision making
• Assist with the development and maintenance of reporting processes, documentation and quality assurance activities
• Monitor compliance with reporting requirements and contribute to the successful delivery of regulatory deadlines
• Develop expertise in Higher Education data, reporting requirements and sector best practice while supporting continuous improvement initiatives

About You

• Have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high quality work
• Enjoy working with data and have the ability to identify trends, anomalies and areas for improvement
• Possess strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders and explain information clearly and effectively
• Be confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and comfortable working with databases and information systems
• Demonstrate a methodical and analytical approach to problem solving
• Build positive working relationships and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Show initiative, adaptability and a willingness to learn new systems, processes and regulatory requirements
• Bring experience of data administration, validation or reporting activities
