Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About TVS Acoustics
TVS Acoustics is a specialist supplier of acoustic and interior solutions to the UK construction and fit-out markets. Our Ceilings & Interiors division offers a broad range of ceiling and interior products, including ceiling tiles, grids, metal ceilings, acoustic baffles, rafts, wall panels, and associated accessories.
As the division continues to grow, we are looking for an ambitious External Sales Manager – North to drive sales and develop our customer base across the region.
The Role
This is a field-based sales role with responsibility for growing sales across the Northern territory.
You will be responsible for developing existing customer relationships, winning new business, and identifying opportunities across the construction, interiors, and building products sectors.
You will take ownership of the Northern territory, building a strong pipeline of opportunities and working closely with our internal sales and technical teams to deliver excellent customer service and profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales across the Northern territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and win new customers and new business opportunities.
- Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
- Regularly visit customers and prospects across the region.
- Identify opportunities to grow sales across the wider Ceilings & Interiors product range.
- Manage enquiries, quotations, and projects through to order.
- Negotiate commercially to achieve sales and margin targets.
- Keep up to date with market and competitor activity.
- Work closely with the internal sales team to maximize opportunities and deliver excellent customer service.
- Represent TVS Acoustics professionally at customer meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a driven, confident, and commercially focused sales professional who enjoys building relationships and winning business. Ideally, you will have experience in:
- Ceilings and suspended ceilings
- Interior fit-out
- Construction products or building materials
- Acoustic products
- Drylining/partitioning
- Commercial interiors
- Other related B2B construction sectors
Experience selling to contractors, distributors, installers, or end users would be advantageous.
Most importantly, you will be comfortable working independently, developing your own territory, and proactively creating sales opportunities.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Commercially driven with a focus on sales and margin.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing your own territory.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Organized, proactive, and target-driven.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Northern territory.
