As part of our substantial growth, we are searching for an External Sales Representative (Contractors) to join our external sales team. This role involves direct interaction with contractors, helping you establish your own customer base and contribute to our sales expansion.
About the Role
You will build and maintain relationships with constructors and contractors, generate new sales opportunities through in-person engagements, and follow up via quotations, calls, and emails. This role requires proactive networking, lead generation, CRM management, and maintaining strong partnerships within the construction sector to support both business growth and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Build new sales opportunities:
- Meet with main contractors in-person toPitch our products and generate new, high-value sales.
- Follow up with quotations, calls, and emails to close deals.
- Prospecting & Lead Identification:
- Conduct company background research and gather lead information.
- Identify customer buying trends and provide strategic insights to management.
- CRM & Data Management:
- Enter, update, and maintain CRM systems with accurate details on leads, prospects, and opportunities.
- Business Development & Sales Experience:
- Engage with decision-makers within the construction industry to expand and secure sales.
- Build a wide network of industry and sector partners to support long-term business growth.
- Achieving Sales Targets:
- Meet and exceed sales KPIs to contribute to the company's growth.
- Collaborate with sales, customer operations, and logistics teams to ensure alignment.
- Team Contribution & Reporting:
- Participate in sales meetings to communicate pipelines and sales progress.
- Reports to Management in:
- Customer buying trends, sales cycles, and performance metrics.

Requirements
Strong candidates will ideally have:
- Extensive experience in an external sales role, preferably within the construction industry. (Note: Not essential, but highly beneficial.)
- Adaptability, self-motivation and a team-oriented attitude.
- Strong negotiation skills to close deals effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize workloads efficiently.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth business environment and maintain a resilient, target-focused mindset.
- Confidence and leadership to engage stakeholders in a competitive market.
