About the role:

Together, we’re shaping the future of construction. Ready to make your impact? Join us as External Segment Leader (ETICS & Flat Roofs) for our Insulation division at Etex.

We’re seeking a commercially driven Segment Leader to define and execute the growth strategy for these segments globally, with a primary focus on Europe. Operating within a matrix organisation, the successful candidate will influence stakeholders across countries and functions to accelerate growth, strengthen market positioning, and drive ambitious revenue expansion within the external building envelope segment.

Location:

Preferred location is Madrid, Spain. However, we welcome applications from candidates based in Belgium, France, Germany, or the UK. The role operates in an international environment and requires regular travel across Europe.

  • Define and deploy the global segment strategy for ETICS and Flat Roof solutions, with an initial focus on Europe.
  • Own the growth and sales success of the external segment, with accountability for driving revenue, increasing market penetration and delivering against business growth targets.
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, competitive landscapes, and value propositions to identify growth opportunities.
  • Partner with country leaders, commercial teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive execution and commercial excellence.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for ETICS, facades, and external insulation systems.
  • Drive product development and innovation initiatives for the segment, translating market trends and customer feedback into differentiated solutions that drive customer value and business growth.

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong experience within ETICS, external insulation and/or flat roofing is a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive segment sales performance and business growth, with a strong commercial mindset and a track record of developing and executing strategies that deliver revenue and market share.
  • Proven success in developing and executing commercial, category, or segment growth strategies across international markets.
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer buying behaviour, specification-driven sales, and competitor positioning.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience driving market expansion, business development, and profitable growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead within a matrix and international environment.
  • Fluent English with excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills; additional European languages are advantageous.
