An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the Campus Services team, working on our city campus to help fulfil our commitment to providing a quality cleaning service to the academic environment.
We are seeking a reliable and motivated External Window Cleaner to join our team. As part of Estates and Facilities, you will help create a positive environment that supports the learning, teaching, and research activities of the University.
This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, pride in your work, and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential. You will work as part of a supportive team to maintain the University's buildings to the highest standards, ensuring they remain clean, safe, and welcoming for our diverse community and focuses on the student experience.
As an External Window Cleaner, this role incorporates all duties related to both external and internal window cleaning, using a trailer-based water fed pole system externally, with more traditional window cleaning methods internally.

- Will ideally have previous cleaning experience
- Will have experience of using modern cleaning methods and using cleaning machinery and tools. You will be provided with training when you join the team.
- Holds a full driving licence.
- Takes pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness.
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Are reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Can follow cleaning procedures, instructions, and health and safety requirements.
- Have good communication skills.
- Are willing to undertake training and development as required.
The position is part of a small daytime team on campus, working across all university buildings. You will be required to work 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 10:00am-2:00pm, although flexibility on the start time will be considered for the successful candidate.
The salary shown will be pro-rated down to reflect the part-time hours.
