The role
The purpose of this role is to provide a high-quality, effective, and customer-focused housing management service to residents living within Extra Care Housing. The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of staff within the Extra Care Scheme, ensuring services are delivered in line with agreed business objectives, organisational policies and procedures, and Regenda’s values to achieve performance targets and support the growth and sustainability of the service.
You will provide advice, guidance, and support to customers and staff in relation to housing management and Extra Care services. This includes leading on the allocation of properties, Monitoring contracts and ensuring contractual obligations are met, operation of the scheme’s services, minor anti-social behaviour issues, safeguarding concerns and building inspections.
The role requires effective liaison with internal teams, external contractors, local authorities, and partner organisations to ensure the scheme remains safe, compliant, and delivers an excellent customer experience. The post holder may occasionally be required to travel to other offices and locations across the Group to support operational requirements.
The right fit
- Confident and professional communicator with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Experience of working effectively with vulnerable customers, their families, advocates, and partner agencies.
- Strong understanding of housing management, tenancy management, safeguarding, and customer-focused service delivery.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop teams to achieve high performance and positive outcomes.
- Ability to build and maintain effective partnerships.
- Experience of managing contracts and service level agreements, ensuring obligations are met.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of health and safety, fire safety, compliance requirements, and building management responsibilities.
- Experience of managing safeguarding concerns and ensuring appropriate action is taken in line with policies and procedures.
- Strong ICT skills to produce accurate reports and performance information.
- Ability to analyse data, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for service improvement.
- Experience managing budgets would be advantageous.
- Organised and resilient with the ability to manage changing priorities and work under pressure.

Who We Are
Regenda Homes is an award-winning Registered Social Housing provider with around 12,000 homes in Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, and Lancashire. We provide additional support to residents including finding work, money advice, or dealing with anti-social behaviour. We work in partnership with residents to scrutinise services and make sure we perform to a high standard.
