About The Role
Pertemps West Bromwich seeks an Extrusion Machine Operator for its manufacturing client in Wednesbury. This weekend role runs 6pm to 6am, Friday through Sunday, totaling 36 hours weekly at £14+ per hour, dependent on experience. Both full and part-time contracts are available. Duties include running extrusion machinery safely, inspecting and packing finished items, performing quality checks, and reporting defects promptly. The successful candidate will follow production guidelines, hit output targets, keep the workspace clean and safe, and complete records accurately. Reliability, punctuality, and comfort with 12-hour night shifts are essential. Teamwork and adherence to Health & Safety rules are vital. Previous extrusion or manufacturing experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate extrusion machinery safely and efficiently.
- Remove, inspect and pack finished products to the required standard.
- Carry out quality checks and report any defects or issues.
- Follow production instructions and meet output targets.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Complete production and quality records accurately.
- Work as part of a team to ensure production targets are achieved.

About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts.
- Ideally experienced in extrusion machining or a manufacturing/production environment.
- Able to work accurately and consistently in a fast-paced environment.
- A good team player with a positive, hands-on attitude.
