Extrusion Operator - £28,000 rising to £32,000

Liverpool, L9 | Permanent | Continental Shift Pattern

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working with a well-established manufacturing business based in Liverpool (L9) who are looking for an experienced Extrusion Operator to join their team.

If you have experience working with blown film or injection moulding and are looking for a permanent opportunity with excellent earning potential, this could be the role for you.

Salary & Benefits

  • £28,000 per annum
  • Salary increasing to £32,000 after successful completion of 13 weeks' training
  • 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays

Shift Pattern

You will initially complete a 1-week induction and training period, working 8am-4pm.

Following training, you will move onto a 12-hour continental shift pattern:

  • 2 days / 2 nights / 4 days off
  • 8am-8pm
  • 8pm-8am

The Role

As an Extrusion Operator, you will play an important role in the manufacturing process, ensuring production runs efficiently and products meet the required quality standards.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Setting up, operating and monitoring extrusion machinery
  • Adjusting machine settings to maintain optimum production performance
  • Monitoring the manufacturing process and product quality
  • Identifying and reporting any production or machinery issues
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Following all company health & safety procedures
  • Working as part of a wider production team to achieve production targets

About You

We're looking for candidates with previous experience within a manufacturing environment, with experience in:

  • Blown film extrusion
  • Injection moulding
  • Extrusion processes

You Will Also Need

  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • A good understanding of health & safety
  • The ability to work a 12-hour continental shift pattern
  • A reliable and flexible approach to work
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards
