Are you an experienced teacher with expertise in Early Years SEND and a passion for building the confidence, knowledge and skills of practitioners and families to support every child to achieve their full potential?
Havering SEND and Alternative Provision Service is a multidisciplinary team comprising Educational Psychologists, Advisory Teachers, Early Years Specialists, Counsellors, Occupational Therapists, and other specialist professionals. Together, we work collaboratively to support children and young people with SEND, their families, and the educational settings they attend.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced EYFS Advisory Teacher to join our growing team. As an EYFS Advisory Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in improving outcomes for young children with emerging and identified SEND. Through training, consultation, coaching, and specialist advice, you will build the confidence and capacity of practitioners and families, helping to ensure that children receive the right support at the earliest opportunity.
About the Role
The EYFS Advisory Teacher will work collaboratively with early years providers, schools, families, and professionals to promote inclusive practice and high-quality SEND provision across the borough.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
