About The Role
Our client, a highly respected and forward-thinking primary school in Walthamstow, Greater London, is seeking a talented and passionate EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Teacher to join their dedicated team. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that cover all areas of the EYFS curriculum, including personal, social, and emotional development; communication and language; physical development; literacy; mathematics; understanding the world; and expressive arts and design.
- Create a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and a love of learning.
- Assess and monitor the progress of each child, using both formative and summative assessments to inform your teaching and provide tailored support.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure the holistic well-being and development of each child.
- Contribute to the broader life of the school, such as organising and leading extracurricular activities, participating in staff meetings, and supporting school events.
- Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reports on each child's progress and development.
- Actively engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest EYFS practices and educational research.
Qualifications And Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Extensive experience working in an EYFS setting, with a proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning outcomes
- In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and its implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- A passion for early years education and a commitment to promoting the holistic development of young learners
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required
