EYFS Supply Teachers
Location: Yeovil
Start date: September 2026
Pay: £140 to £233 per day based on role and pay scale.
We are working exclusively with a large and highly respected Multi-Academy Trust (BWMAT) that supports a wide network of schools across Somerset. The Trust is recognised for its inclusive values, strong community focus, supportive leadership and commitment to nurturing both pupils and staff. Connex Education is seeking enthusiastic EYFS Supply Teachers to work with primary schools across Yeovil from September 2026. This opportunity is perfect for teachers who bring energy, creativity, and a strong understanding of early years practice, and who want the freedom to choose flexible supply work while making a real difference in nursery and reception classrooms.
The Yeovil EYFS Supply Teaching Role
Working on supply in Yeovil gives you the opportunity to bring fresh ideas and calm, reliable support into early years classrooms. You will help children feel confident, settled, and ready to learn by delivering prepared activities, supporting continuous provision, and maintaining positive routines throughout the day.

- Deliver engaging EYFS cover across nursery and reception settings
- Support child-led learning, early language, phonics, and personal development
- Help maintain a purposeful classroom environment through clear routines and positive relationships
- Adapt confidently to different schools, teams, and daily plans

What We're Looking For
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
- EYFS teaching experience or recent early years placement experience
- A strong understanding of play-based learning and early development
- Confidence building rapport quickly with young children and staff teams
- A reliable, positive, and flexible approach to supply teaching
