Teaching Assistant in Nursery

Hours of work: 31.6 per week.
Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service).
Salary: As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.

Closing date: Friday 16 October, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
Interview date: W/c 19 October, 2026.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join us at Meridian Community Primary School as a Teaching Assistant in our school Nursery.

Our popular Nursery includes children from 2 years old to 4 years old.

The successful candidate will:

  • Enjoy working with and caring for children, particularly Early Years children.
  • Be highly motivated and keen to learn.
  • Be willing to work effectively as part of a team.
