St Andrew’s Infant School - Teaching Assistant Role
St Andrew’s is a popular two-form entry infant school situated in a semi-rural location on the outskirts of Coventry. Our pupils are happy, enthusiastic, and well-behaved learners who make our school a fantastic place to be.
All members of our school community work together to live out our school values of respect, responsibility, and peace.
We are currently looking to recruit new colleagues to join our team of dedicated teaching assistants. Our Headteacher, (Mrs Underhill) would be delighted to provide interested applicants with a tour of our school.

Who we are looking for?
We are looking to appoint an experienced teaching assistant who:
- Has recent experience of working with Reception aged children
- Has experience of supporting children to become confident readers, writers, and mathematicians
- Has experience of supporting children with additional needs (physical, educational, and emotional)
- Has experience of supporting neurologically diverse children
- Recognises and celebrates the uniqueness of every child
- Uses positive behaviour management strategies and demonstrates a compassionate and restorative approach to dealing with behaviours
- Works effectively with colleagues as part of a team
- Whose personal values align with those of our school
- Will actively contribute to school life and the wider community
- Possesses a sense of humour, positive outlook, and empathy
- Is a reflective practitioner who recognises the importance of professional learning
