As a Valued Member Of Our Team, You Will
- Support teachers in delivering high‑quality, inclusive learning across the curriculum
- Work closely with individual pupils and small groups to help them overcome barriers to learning
- Foster positive behaviour, well‑being and strong relationships
- Supervise and support pupils during lunchtimes, encouraging safe play, social interaction and positive behaviour
- Contribute to a calm, caring and nurturing school environment throughout the day
- There is an opportunity to do a HLTA role one day a week, interested candidates can discuss this at interview
👋 We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Is patient, caring and child‑centred
- Communicates effectively with pupils, staff and parents
- Works well as part of a team and shows initiative
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and pupil well‑being
- Has experience in EYFS, this is desirable, but not essential as training will be given

About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding position supporting children in EYFS. It involves working 27.5 hours per week as a Teaching Assistant and 5 hours per week as a Lunchtime Supervisor. It is a fixed term position to 31st August 2027 with the possibility of becoming permanent. There is also the opportunity to work as a HLTA for one day a week (TA 4 days/HLTA 1 day), this will be discussed at interview with interested candidates.
We warmly welcome visits to the school where there will be the opportunity to discuss the role further with the Headteacher, Caroline Farmer. Please contact Mrs Hull in the school office to book a visit.
