Fabric Consultant

Up to £90,000

We are partnering with a leading Microsoft-focused consultancy that specialises in delivering enterprise-scale data, analytics and AI transformation projects. Working with organisations across a range of industries, the business helps clients unlock greater value from their data through modern cloud architectures, advanced analytics and Microsoft technologies.

As part of continued growth within its Data & AI practice, the business is looking to appoint a Fabric Consultant to help design and deliver modern data platform solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a data professional to work on cutting-edge Microsoft Fabric engagements while expanding their expertise across Azure, Power BI and emerging AI technologies.

Working closely with clients, architects and technical teams, you will be responsible for building scalable data solutions, designing modern data architectures and enabling organisations to make better use of their data. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions while contributing to innovation and best practice across multiple client projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build and optimise high-performance data pipeline solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse and Azure Databricks.
  • Develop scalable data platforms to ingest, store and transform large volumes of data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts and data scientists to support advanced analytics and machine learning projects.
  • Ensure data quality, governance and performance across enterprise data platforms.
  • Support clients throughout the full project lifecycle, from discovery through to implementation and optimisation.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Data Engineering using Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory or Azure Databricks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Strong Python programming skills focused on data engineering and data transformation.
  • Data modelling experience with a solid understanding of Kimball methodology.
  • Experience building and optimising cloud-based data platforms and data pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Experience working within a consultancy or client-facing environment is advantageous.
