Role Title & Location
Fabric Engineer – London, Remote
Role Purpose
This role supports the Workplace Management team on-site with essential hard services implementation for clients, ensuring:
- Optimal workplace performance
- Best-in-class employee experience
- Seamless integration of engineering solutions
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Client & Operational Support
- Represent the hard services team and deliver successful on-site support for all workplace engineering needs
- Coordination: Ensure Specialist Vendor visits are executed efficiently; inspect work quality, report findings, and relay recommendations to the Workplace Management Account Manager
- Maintenance: Conduct Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks, adhering to compliance guidelines, statutory regulations, and safety standards to maintain healthy, safe workspaces
Administration & Documentation
- Record detailed completion notes on all work orders, including critical spares/stock tracking, via the Corrigo platform
- Generate weekly reports, documenting key site events/activities, and communicate updates to the Workplace Management team and Account Manager
- Manage M&E components orders for remedial/corrective works in liaison with the Account Manager

Plant Room & Asset Ownership
- Owner of assigned hard services areas/plant rooms under JLL’s control, ensuring consistent adherence to workplace standards
Compliance & Safety
- Participate in Health & Safety activities, including:
- Hazard/Near Miss Reporting
- Regular Toolbox Talks
- Maintain compliance with:
- JLL MEP processes/procedures
- Relevant risk management documentation (e.g., MOP, SOP, EOP for critical works)
- Follow Corrigo Work Order SLAs to minimise workplace disruption
Customer Service & Training
- Provide exceptional customer-focused service supporting occupants’ needs
- Engage in additional training as required
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Trades expertise: Deep knowledge of hardware and familiarity with workplace environments
- Communication: Proficient in clarity and professional engagement, particularly with diverse workplace stakeholders
- Problem-solving: Proactive approach to achieving top-tier workplace standards
- IT & Reporting: Strong ability to record data accurately on Corrigo and produce clear reports
- Resilience: Capable of maintaining ** calmefficiently under pressure within tight deadlines**
