£40,000 – £42,000 | Monday–Friday | Permanent

We’re currently looking for a Fabric Engineer with a strong Painting & Decorating background to join a busy facilities management team working on a high-profile commercial site in Knightsbridge.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Painter & Decorator / Fabric Engineer who takes pride in their work and is confident carrying out both planned and reactive fabric maintenance.

The Role

  • Carry out painting and decorating across the site
  • Complete general fabric repairs and maintenance
  • Repair walls, ceilings, doors, skirting and other finishes
  • Prepare surfaces, fill, sand and apply high-quality finishes
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests
  • Complete PPM tasks and general building maintenance
  • Maintain high standards of presentation across the building
  • Liaise with the wider M&E and facilities team
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard

We're Looking For Someone With

  • A strong background in Painting & Decorating
  • Previous experience within a Fabric Engineer / Building Maintenance role
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Experience carrying out reactive and planned maintenance
  • Good knowledge of general building fabric
  • Professional approach and good communication skills
  • Relevant trade qualifications would be advantageous
