Who We're Looking For
Our people are united by a common belief: that we can outperform in everything we do.
This person will be responsible for Furniture, Fixtures, Equipment and Building Fabric Services at the Greater Peterborough Health Improvement PFI including the supervision and performance of the Maintenance Team. They will also be responsible for providing expertise and support to Multiplex and the Fabric Services Manager and liaise and work with the Electrical and Mechanical Services Supervisors in the delivery of the hard facilities management service.

- Provide professional support and advice with regards to Building Fabric FF&E to team leaders and engineering staff as required.
- Act as Appointed Person (AP) in support of contract operations, as designated and recorded on the AP Register.
- Health & Safety: (supervisors have responsibilities on behalf of the organisation and must also comply with their requirements as workers under the HSW Act):
- Supervision / co-ordination of Specialist sub-contractors
- Monitor any potential failures relating to FF&E (penalties/deductions), implementing and managing PPM and testing regimes, investigating and preparing reports, surveys and audits as required
- Supervise/ co-ordinate jointly with the maintenance personnel to ensure shift cover, sick leave and holidays are managed to maintain minimum levels.
- Ensure communications are open and free flowing between the engineering and management teams.
- Constantly monitor and review the effective utilisation of FF&E resources and provide the management team with solutions to maximise efficiencies if required
- Collaborating with other staff on one's own initiative and able to interact and support other members of the contract team as required

Knowledge And Experience
- Supervisory experience with a proven track record of operating within a Mechanical maintenance capacity.
- Experience in healthcare projects is highly desirable.
- Appropriate experience/qualification for Fire and Health & Safety procedures
- Healthcare Environment experience
- Experience of working in the built environment, preferably a hospital environment
- Asset Management knowledge and capability to implement this knowledge.
