Flair Windows Apprenticeship Opportunity

Flair Windows has an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join their experienced team of fabricators, gaining a Level 2 Apprenticeship Qualification in Fenestration Fabricator. The successful candidate will be mentored by an experienced team who will support individuals to become fully skilled and qualified in this industry.

Job Summary

Assist with the day-to-day manufacturing process of UPVC windows ensuring that compliance to company procedures is maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Cutting

    • Locate and select profile
    • Load material into cutting machine
    • Measure cut profile and check angles and routering are within specification
    • Label and store product
  • Welding

    • Operate welding machine to build frames and sashes in accordance with labelled profile
    • Check welding temperature and Teflon plates for defects
    • Scan product for tracking
