Location: Portrush, Northern Ireland
Salary: £52,000 – £60,000 + Overtime + Relocation Payment

NEOS Engineering Recruitment are recruiting a Fabrication Supervisor for a rapidly expanding engineering and manufacturing business based near Portrush. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing a busy fabrication department, coordinating skilled tradespeople and ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

The Role

  • Supervise daily fabrication and welding activities
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of fabricators and welders
  • Allocate workloads and monitor production deadlines
  • Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications
  • Ensure work meets dimensional, welding and quality standards
  • Coordinate with production, materials and quality teams
  • Monitor productivity and identify production improvements
  • Maintain excellent health and safety standards
  • Support recruitment, training and performance management

The Candidate

  • Strong fabrication and welding background
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Able to interpret detailed engineering drawings
  • Good understanding of structural steel fabrication
  • Strong communication and people-management skills
  • Knowledge of welding procedures and production planning
  • Experience within modular, structural steel or heavy manufacturing is beneficial
