LOCATION: Aberdeen

JOB TYPE: Full-time, Contract – approximately 12 weeks

START DATE: ASAP

About the Role

TEXO Recruitment are currently looking for a Fabrication Fitter to join an established engineering business based in Aberdeen.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you’ll be responsible for carrying out fabrication and fitting work within the workshop, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings
  • Measure, mark out, and prepare materials
  • Fabricate and fit components
  • Carry out fitting and assembly work to specification
  • Ensure work is completed to a high standard
  • Follow all company health, safety, and quality procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
  • Support the wider workshop team as required

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience in a fabrication/fitting role
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Good measuring and marking-out skills
  • Strong practical and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work safely and accurately

Desirable

  • Relevant fabrication/fitting qualification
  • Previous workshop or engineering experience
  • Experience working within an oil & gas, industrial, or engineering environment
