Location: Kidderminster

Pay Rate: £25.00 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week + Regular Overtime Available


We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Kidderminster. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role with consistent overtime and excellent rates of pay.


Pay & Overtime

  • Basic Rate: £25.00 per hour
  • 40-hour standard working week
  • Overtime paid at 1.3x, 1.5x and 2x your hourly rate, depending on hours worked.

The Role

Working within a busy fabrication workshop, your duties will include:

  • MIG welding mild steel to a high standard.
  • Fabricating components from engineering drawings.
  • Measuring, marking out, cutting and assembling fabricated steelwork.
  • Using workshop machinery and fabrication equipment safely.
  • Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Working both independently and as part of an experienced fabrication team.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a MIG Welder Fabricator.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Competent using fabrication tools and workshop equipment.
  • Own air-fed welding mask is essential.
  • Own safety boots and standard PPE.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Reliable, hardworking and able to work to production deadlines.

Salary: 23 - 25 GBP Per hour
