About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team, responsible for fabricating and welding components as per engineering drawings and quality standards. This role demands proficiency in welding techniques, fabrication processes, and a strong understanding of safety and quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to fabricate and weld components.
  • Operate welding and fabrication equipment, including MIG, TIG, plasma cutters, oxy acetylene torch, grinders, guillotine, brake press, and pillar drill.
  • Cut, shape, and assemble metal components to required specifications.
  • Inspect finished welds and fabricated components to ensure they meet dimensional and quality standards.
  • Maintain welding and fabrication equipment in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements.

  • Welding techniques: Expert in complex welding techniques, including precision TIG welding, and advanced materials like aluminum.
  • Blueprint and technical drawing interpretation: Expert in reading and applying advanced fabrication drawings, including isometric and 3D views.
  • Fabrication and metalworking: Expert in precision fabrication, ensuring tight tolerances and complex assemblies.
  • Weld inspection and Quality Assurance: Proficient in dimensional checks and visual inspection to industry standards.
  • Safety and equipment maintenance: Proficient in maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Demonstrates advanced troubleshooting, project leadership, and mentoring of others.
