We’re Hiring – Fabricator / Welder

Overview Of The Role

Fabricate and welding of mobile milling machines and perform repairs where necessary

Key Responsibilities

  • Locate and mark bending and cutting lines onto work piece
  • Position, align, fit, preheat work pieces, and weld together parts
  • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products
  • Bolt, clamp, and tack weld parts to secure in position for welding
  • Lay out, position, align, and fit components together
  • Position and clamp together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding
  • Analyse diagrams and specifications and cut all metal accordingly
  • Evaluate finished products and perform quality checks on products
  • Assemble old units and perform modification and repair work if required
