Are you a skilled Fabricator who takes pride in producing high-quality bespoke products?

We are partnered with a business looking for an experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator to join their growing team in Letchworth Garden City. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and respected manufacturer, working on a varied range of bespoke projects where quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are paramount.

This is not repetitive production work. Every day brings something different, with the opportunity to work on custom-built products using stainless steel and aluminium, producing components and assemblies to exacting standards.

The Fabricator Role

  • Fabrication and TIG welding of bespoke stainless steel and aluminium products
  • Working from engineering drawings and specifications
  • Producing high-quality finished work to tight tolerances
  • Fabricating one-off and small-batch bespoke projects
  • Using a variety of workshop equipment and hand tools
  • Working closely with the wider production team to deliver quality products on time
  • Press brake operation and sheet metal work where required

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder
  • Strong TIG welding experience
  • Experience working with stainless steel and aluminium
  • Background in bespoke fabrication, prototype work, or custom-built products
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience working to tight tolerances and quality standards
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Press brake experience would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Positive attitude and willingness to get involved across the workshop
