FABRICATOR/WELDER - SPLISBY

Job Title: Fabricator/Welder
Location: Spilsby, Lincolnshire
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Between £18-19 per hour (Depending on experience)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

About The Company

The company is an established metal fabrication and CNC machining company, who have been around for over 30 years. They are specialists within UK manufacturing and are well-respected for their high-end capacity for laser cutting, metal fabrication, welding, CNC machining, prototyping, and custom design services. They are known for their work across various industries, including Construction, Rail, Renewable Power, and many more.

The Role

They are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator/Welder to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for fabricating and TIG welding a range of custom metal components, structures, and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel to manufacture custom metal components, structures, and assemblies.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately assemble components, structures, and assemblies.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure structural integrity and precise adherence to dimensions and tolerances.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment in compliance with health and safety standards.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder in a precision engineering or metal manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in TIG welding.
  • Ability to read and work confidently from engineering drawings.
  • A precision-driven approach with pride in workmanship ideal for someone who enjoys varied, hands-on fabrication over repetitive assembly line work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.
