About the practice
A leading international architecture and design practice with a well-established London studio. The Sports + Entertainment team is expanding and has already started work on new projects, so an early start is preferred.
The role
You will join an established sports architecture and design team, developing, optimising and documenting façade and envelope packages for RIBA Stages 3 and 4. You will work closely with architects, engineers and visualisation specialists so that stadium designs are aesthetically compelling, structurally efficient and operationally functional, while meeting international standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive work packages for building envelopes, including façade systems, canopy interfaces, podium screens and integrated building lighting/media.
- Produce detailed construction documentation, specifications, tender drawings and interface details in BIM/Revit.
- Coordinate complex geometry using parametric tools (Grasshopper, Dynamo) to optimise panelisation, material use and fabrication workflow.
- Resolve interface geometry between primary structural frames (e.g. roof trusses, long-span steelwork) and secondary façade support structures.
- Collaborate with structural and façade engineers, MEP consultants, lighting designers and wind/microclimate specialists.
- Manage interfaces with specialist contractors, fabricators and suppliers through design development and procurement.
- Take part in design reviews, value engineering exercises and technical workshops with clients and venue operators.

About you
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Approximately 5 to 8+ years of architectural experience on large-scale public assembly buildings, sports venues or complex transport hubs.
- Essential: experience in façade modelling, detailing and package documentation, including façade and envelope packages for RIBA Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a focus on clear technical documentation.
- Revit and Rhino required.
